I went on my morning walk today. I often go alone. I talk to God on these solitary times, since I can no longer do that in the car on my way to work.
By nature I am a solitary creature. I love the companionship of my mind. I have always been very comfortable with myself and I relish that alone time.
Looking around in my budding neighborhood, I am again struck by the things lost to make way for humans.
Look at the beauty here.

This is a new phase, less than 2 months ago, there were trees everywhere …

I see the beauty here, and I think about how this was once someone’s homestead. Someone’s hopes, their dream of building a life for their family. Now all that remains are the remnants of that fence, now in tatters, being torn down making way for the new.
I ponder how my life, my home, my dreams will someday be torn down as well to make way forĀ things new.
But it is they way humans do.
So nice
Thank you so much dear.
You’re welcome <3
It’s the way humans have been doing..dominating.

It is awesome! It’s sad that the trees are gone…
Love, light and glitter
I know. Have a wonderful day!!
This is the world we live in. š
Sadly, yes.
Lovely to read your thoughts and see your landscapes, dear Pene. Btw I mentioned you in my own nature walk post yesterday. :)) Thanks for all your encouragement. šššÆāāļøš
Pene, I feel your heart 100% and relate to everything you’ve written. It is tragic what humans have done to the beautiful landscapes our Heavenly Father created with such joy. I understand building and creating places and spaces for us to enjoy. But sadly, what has happened in most of this world is nothing more than abuse. As my brother in law puts it, “Humans are the cancer of the world.” We have destroyed so much unnecessarily. When I walk around and see untouched nature, it takes my breath away and I am so grateful there is still some to enjoy!
Thank you for sharing your part of the world. It’s beautiful and so are you! ā„
Oh thank you, I am so glad you feel it too. I agree with your brother-in-law. We do seem to destroy so much.
