How often do you lift up your arms to heaven just to say to God- Thank you? Not nearly as often as I should.

The 1 Grateful Person Tag is based on Luke 19 and the account of Jesus with the 1 out of ten lepers he healed who came back thank him. Let us aspire to be like the 1 who thanked Jesus and not the 9 who did not.

Here are the rules:

1– Share what you are grateful to Jesus for.

I am so grateful for God’s love for me. I am humbled that he has sought me out in various spaces, to show me how much he does.

2Share a passage from the bible about gratitude that means something to you.

Psalms 28:7 — The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him.

  1. Sometimes things don’t always go the way we want therefore we boycott God, we stop going to His House, we stop giving Him praise–instead we become bitter with God, fold our arms and say, “how could you!”

We may get sick, we may experience financial hardships, but God will give us strength to get through it. Many people think we should be thankful after God has blessed us with something good. Giving God thanks is not limit to that, the scripture says be thankful in ALL things for this is the will of God concerning us in Christ Jesus.
