Christ Is The Lord!

H e l l o WordPress Family!!!

Happy holidays to you my friends.

I have been so so so busy, but I could not let the celebration of Jesus’ birth go by without taking the time to greet you all.

Do enjoy the fruits resulting from the sweat of your brows as you meditate on our Lord Jesus Christ.

Perhaps we will all learn to be a little kinder, gentler, considerate and more tolerant towards each other.

May God grant your petitions in accordance with his will and divine purpose for your life.

Merry Christmas everybody!!

Shalom.

How Great Thou Art…!

This week has been an especially hard one in a few different ways. I have felt under attack for one thing or another. Unjustly!

This morning I decided to listen to my music and when I got to “How Great Thou art” I could just feel the Holy Spirit and the love of Jesus surrounding me and healing my hurts.

I felt that “hum if static electricity” that always signals his presence for me with the palpable love I feel surrounding me like a cocoon. I was moved to tears at His presence.

It’s wonderful to know that you know that the God of this vast universe cares about the small things in each of our lives.

I am eternally grateful!

I will release all that I perceive as wrongs to His care for He is certainly capable.

In my humanness I often forget that Gods’ spirit is always present to heal and thus carry my own burdens.

Today I am feeling so blessed to be touched by his presence. Here is David’s psalm below.

Psalm 121

I will lift up mine eyes to the hills from whence cometh my help.

My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth.

He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber.

Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.

The Lord is thy keeper: the Lord is thy shade upon thy right hand.

The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night.

The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul.

The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore…

I love the final verse so much, it’s a reminder of the constant love of God.

May we remember sooner to cast our cares upon Him and not carry so much on our feeble shoulders.

And know that Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever.
