Ecclesiastes 12:1 — KJV
Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth, while the evil days come not, nor the years draw nigh when thou shalt say, I have no pleasure in them;
Good morning! A Facebook family of mine posted this image today. It struck me as being so apt for the stages of our lives and a reminder to me at least to remember to honor God while we are young.
Youth is fleeting, it seems like yesterday I was a girl of sixteen. Now my daughter is that age.
Thoughts to ponder…
Be safe, be well, be blessed!
Apt!. We won’t remain forever young. Wise use of one’s time by living in God’s purpose for our lives makes living worth the years.
Amen.
Love it dear friend. They say that youth is wasted on the young, but perhaps it happens so that when we are older, we can remember it, again.
I love that analogy.
Sad reality. Thanks for the reminder girl.
Have a blessed day my sister.
Great reminder! The years fly by quickly. The sooner we start living for God the better.
Yes they do. I asked God to teach me to count the number of my years.
Be blessed my sister. Always happy to hear from you.
Powerful message in the picture. 🙂
Isn’t it … it certainly got me thinking.
