TODAY

I just love to take pics from a plane, I feel closer to heaven.

This is the day that the Lord hath made, let us rejoice and be glad in it.

Good morning to my wonderful friends out there.

Hope you have a day filled with the joy of our Lord Jesus.

    1. Yes brother, on my way to work today, listening to my music it struck that this is the day the Lord made, I am alive, I have a job, I am good family is good and though life has it’s challenges always I was rejoicing.

      1. Wow! It’s nice to hear from you again I hope you had a great time as you listened to that hit. Besides any challenges, life has to move on no matter how hard situations may be.

  1. There are some days that we do not feel like rejoicing. Life gets hard sometimes and problems and the circumstances of life overwhelm us. This scripture reminds us who made this and who holds today in their hands. Therefore, we can rejoice in spite of suffering. This scripture reminds us that we have been another day to LIVE, a day that was not promised to us. Beginning the day with thankfulness helps us to appreciate God’s goodness and His mercies that are new every morning.

    1. I was headed back here from South America, Guyana where I was born. We fly over the Atlantic and Caribbean Oceans so the cloud formations are wonderful, plus I always expect to see an angel out there, I feel closer to God and I marvel at his creation and pray for a safe trip as well. Especially since I had a place accident in 2011, I realize more than ever He is in charge of it all.

      1. Thank you for answering my question. I am glad that 2011 plane accident was not fatal! It does help us appreciate each day more when we have such experiences, doesn’t it?

      2. Oh yes indeed, I have so much to be thankful for and I see my experiences as a perfect way for God to reveal himself to me and to assure me that He knows and cares about each and every one of us on an individual.
basis. He really is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him and sometimes even when we are not actively seeking He seeks us out first…is that not wonderful?
